We stayed here on our way out to Rapid City and loved it so much, we stayed again on our way back. The first night was a reward stay and the room was great, the staff was friendly, breakfast was good but the bed was fantastic. Even though it was close to the highway, there as no traffic noise. A great night sleep and a great stay. The second night they upgraded us to a king suite room and it was really wonderful. Same fantastic bed, everything was clean, the whirlpool tub was stocked with loads of towels and lots of room to move around. The staff was again very friendly. Given the opportunity, I will definately stay here again.

We picked this place based on TripAdvisor reviews. We weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, clean room and bath, quiet, nice expanded breakfast. Check-in/check out was smooth; no problems.

We stayed one night at The Hampton in September 2011. The room was immaculate. Front desk was very pleasant. We had a king room which gave us plenty of space to move around. It is located just off the highway so was convenient with our travel plans. The breakfast had a wide variety and was attended to by the staff very efficiently. I would highly recommend this Hampton to anyone traveling through Mitchell SD.

While traveling on vacation we stayed at the the Hampton Inn in Mitchell, SD, as one of our planned stops. This is a good place to stay and reasonably priced. We found the room to be spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff was both friendly and helpful. The continental breakfest was more than adequate. Would stay again.
