On October16 A Rapid City school girls volley ball team stayed at the comfort inn in huron, sd. I was shocked to learn that the hotel had accepted this reservation without being able to accomodate that many guests. There were 5 in their room with one bed, one sofa sleeper and My daughter had to sleep on the FLOOR because when I called the front desk (from Home in Rapid City) and asked that a roll away be delivered to her room (which I would have gladly paid for) I was informed they were out of roll aways-I was also informed that they were out of additional blankets and pillows! Lucky for her she was able to cover herself with a blanket she brought from home and use her jacket for a pillow! I honestly can not understand why the comfort inn would accept more guests than they could comfortably accomodate?
Furthermore, I tried to bring this to the attention of the chain and had explained the circumstances of this complaint. They did nothing, NOTHING and not even apologize for this incident. Reading through additional reviews, I see that it isn't unusual for this facility to treat their guests poorly!!!!
