We went on a 3-week, 5000-mile vacation and this was the best motel we stayed at. The building looks like new, our room was very large, the bathroom was large, everything was very clean, and the continental breakfast was great. We paid $14 less than they wanted at a nearby motel that didn't look half as nice. Great room, good deal.

Nice, clean, large rooms. Continental breakfast included great, hot waffles and hard boiled eggs. For a continental breakfast, not bad. We weren't in town for the gambling, so the lobby slots and SMOKE had no interest to us, but it's difficult to get away from. The local trolley comes right to the front door every 20 minutes for $1 one way.

This hotel is fairly new. It's just a few miles from downtown Deadwood. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast included make your own waffles, bagels, pastry, toast, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, orange and apple juices, coffee, tea. Arrive early as it gets crowded. Attached to the hotel is Gulches of Fun Park with go-karts, mini golf, kiddie rides. We didn't go there, but it looked nice. There is a large casino area in the hotel and a business center off of it that has one pc and printer with free internet access. They give you coupons in-room for discounts on the casino, drinks and the Fun Park.

Comfort Inn in Deadwood is a good hotel to stay in if you have family with you, especially children. There is an amusement park and arcade on the property. For the adults there is the small casino off the lobby. We took a tour of the town and this hotel was probably the best. Overall we weren't impressed with the town, or its so-called attractions and would not plan another trip to this town, but if we were passing through, we'd stay in the hotel again.
