The nicest staff I've ever met- surpised to find it at a small property like a Country Inn. They are doing their best with what they can with their aging product- but atleast the houskeeping staff is attempting to keep their rooms in the best condition. New carpet would do wonders at this property. The bed I had felt very new and was so comfortable for the price I paid.
Overall the rooms are ok but the staff makes up for 10 fold. I would stay here again if I was in the area no questions asked.

This is a modern 3-story limited service hotel with all the basic amenities and a limited number of frills. The place is clean and comfortable having a nice lobby with fireplace, couches and a lending library (Its a Country Inn thing). The front lobby also has an office area with computer and printer etc. available.

Our room had 2 queen beds, and the standard hotel setup. The bathroom is small but adequate. Standard soap and shampoo are provided.

There is an indoor pool, albeit small, but perfectly acceptable. Continental breakfast is provided in the morning, typical chain hotel fare.

The best part of this facility is the staff. We had two sick children who awakened in the night vomiting all over, and the staff was kind offering us assistance with cleanup, towels, linens, access to the kitchen for crackers etc. The were very human and caring, which is a real nice change coming from the New York area where employees are usually annoyed to do their job.

Property was clean but no mini fridge which all the previous Country Inns I have stayed in have one. Further, there was only 1 place to eat next door. Otherwise you have to drive 10 minutes into Sioux City to find dinner.

The big problem is the walls are horribly insulated. Not to mention the rude guests that cannot control their children running through the halls all night long i.e. 2am and the staff seemed rather unconcerned about it.

I could hear someone turning off the faucet upstairs, no kidding. The showers make a ton of noise. Breakfast options were very slim pickings. 2 tiny muffin options and some toast, cerel about the extent of it.

Overall noisy, and not a good value for the money.
