I was staying in Brookings for three weeks for business and am glad to have chose the Days Inn. Great staff, wonderful bathrooms and comfy beds! My hours were extremely early and even the night staff was friendly and upbeat - something incredibly hard to find at 3 AM!

I requested to stay in the same room for those three weeks but after the first week I asked to be moved upstairs to a more private location. Their response? "No problem! Was there anything we could have fixed for you or anything wrong with the room?" It isn't that there was something wrong with the room - it was just RIGHT next to the back entryway and I personally wasn't comfortable with that. Not a problem though, and the next room they put me in was just perfect!

The restaurant that is attached to the hotel is awesome - GREAT food and great staff!

I didn't make use of the pool but it seemed to look like a good one for families with children as they have slides. There is also a mini-golf course that is secure and the kids who were playing seemed to love it!

We stayed here on business with the college. We payed extra for "poolside". This put us under thier roof construction and made our stay absolutely terrible. We asked for queit rooms, they refused, we asked for the management to contact us, it never happened. I asked for them to credit my stay, they told me too bad. Never ever again.

I received everything I expected from a hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable. I definately recommend this hotel for anyone passing through Brookings.

Where do I begin? Supposed to have adjoining rooms with others we were traveling with - but didn't; both beds had black hair all over the comforter - managment basically scolded me saying "it shouldn't matter, you're not supposed to sleep with the comforter anyway" (btw....I know); mold all over the bathroom; fans in the bathroom don't work; they only give two bath towels for a room w double queens; when asking for more clean towels, i received from the maid a "clean" towel that had a fresh poop streak on it (no lie - we even took a picture of it). When talking w management they tried to say it was a "burn" stain from the dryer. This was no burn stain - you could smell the crap from a foot away. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel, there is more but the site has a 50 character minimum!!
