we spent one nite here and that was enough. the place was run down with holes in the wall and hallway was dirty. the room was poorly kept bathroom not dirty but was very unkept. ,the furnishings "beatup" the bed was clean and maybe fairly new and carpet needed to be replace. we started to leave but it was late and after traveling the bed was the only thing we needed. got up early am and continued our drive to charleston. the staff, one woman at desk ,was nice and pleasent. don't know if they had breakfast or not but would not have eaten anyway just down the road about 3 miles was a IHOP it had very good food.

This hotel was cheap,smelled like mold and smoke,very nasty,very run down.While there we witnessed local law enforcement enter the hotel 3 times,once the Sled raided it busting in doors.This hotel needs to be torn down,beautiful Holiday Inn built next to it.This Hotel is terrible and not worth the price to stay,if you value your safety,I would stay else where.
Drug Dealers,Prostitutes all around the area.My wife witnessed a drug deal on the stairs during our stay.I checked out that night.My oldest son over heard the young white woman on the phone asking someone if they had a 10 piece.I later asked a friend what that meant,turns out she was asking about crack.I do not recommend this Hotel to anyone.House keeping was terrible,beds had stained sheets,blankets with holes in them,wall paper peeling off the wall,stains on the ceiling carpet so dirty your feet and socks are black after a few minutes of walking on it.I ask who the owner was and not one person would give me any details.They all seemed to be dumb as to who owns that place.

I looked at this hotel as a place to stay 2 times a month for business. It was clean and everything seemed to work ok. I tested the beds and they seemed to be pretty good. It was clean and I liked the guy at the front desk. It has cable hbo and wifi. This is a former Ramada in a reality safe place. They are building a Holiday Inn Express next door so I feel good about the area. This place would be fine for an inexpensive place to sleep in route to somewhere else. Unfortonately it is well worn. There is no breakfast but coffee. This is not a place to impress a person but like I say if you need a pillow it will probably work well for you.

My check in service was okay, however check-OUT service was horrible! I ended up checking out early because several of the amenitites they list as having, were nowhere to be found! The clerk was supposed to put money back on my credit card and never did so! My advice would be to pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else.
