This hotel was extremely nasty. Carpets were nasty and stained, smelt like cigarettes, and other guests were very load! Not to mention... Roaches and other small bugs in the bed! Needless to say, I got no sleep. Plus, I'm 8 months pregnant and was told "no" when I asked for extra pillows! How rude! Would not recommend to anyone!

Vey satisfied. Quaint, but for the value can't beat it. We travel to Columbia often and will return just to meet the Staff again. They made our stay very enjoyable. Absolutely recommend!!! For the price you can't beat it.

This was the worst place we have ever stayed at. We were visiting the area for a family reunion and only stayed one night. That was one too many for us. It was nothing like we saw when we check it out on line. The people were not friendly. It looked dirty, but when we got to the room it SEEMED clean enough. But at closer look the bet sheets had old stains (I hope) and holes in them. The towles and wash cloths were stained and ruff. The walls had wallpaper paches. No tissues in the 2 places they had to whold facal tissues but wedid have towlet paper. Water was leaking inside the window (it wasn't raining). Vent missing from the ac. Molding around floorboard was coming off as was some of the wall paper. Hair dryer did not work (glad I brought my own). They had a ironing board in the room, but no iron. I did see some mold in the bath. I think the whole building should be redone or torn down. There were some scary looking people there with BIG dogs. I am so glad we were only there for one night and we will not be staying here again.

we spent one nite here and that was enough. the place was run down with holes in the wall and hallway was dirty. the room was poorly kept bathroom not dirty but was very unkept. ,the furnishings "beatup" the bed was clean and maybe fairly new and carpet needed to be replace. we started to leave but it was late and after traveling the bed was the only thing we needed. got up early am and continued our drive to charleston. the staff, one woman at desk ,was nice and pleasent. don't know if they had breakfast or not but would not have eaten anyway just down the road about 3 miles was a IHOP it had very good food.
