Diane made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our stay in the Blue room with our own little porch and comfortable kingsize bed.

Diane had us taste several kinds of Southern breakfasts and we very much enjoyed the the interesting conversations we had at breakfast in her kitchen.

Summerville is a nice base for exploring the region like Charleston and the plantations like the Middleton place (we visited), and the Magnolia gardens. And in Summerville are nice restaurants so you can go out for dinner on foot. Diane gave us several tips for small restaurants of whick I don't remember the names anymore. But she'll be glad to advice you.

The Pink Dolphin exceeded all expectations. We were greeted by Dianne who immediately made us feel right at home with a glass of pink lemonade. The house was lovely, clean and soooo cozy. In the lovely Parlor, we had access to a computer to check our e-mail. We stayed in the Pink Room and absolutely loved it. A little seating area, a very comfortable Queen bed, beautiful ceiling fan, lots of lovely things to look at and an adorable bathroom that was so tastefully decorated. We even had our own little private porch at the front of the house. The breakfast was to die for.....eggs, bacon,grits, fruit compote, biscuits, toast, o.j. & coffee.....absolutely delicious. The two lab dogs were so well behaved & we were lucky enough to have the company of a little 5 month old puppy before she moved to her new home. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with our hosts, Dianne & Ken ....it was like staying with your best friends. I highly recommend the Pink Dolphin. We can't wait to return.

I cant thank Dianne enough for her hospitality and her kindness. My husband and I stayed just one night, but wish we had been able to stay more. We were there to find a house to rent before moving to SC. I was surprised at what a wonderful area the B & B was in too. Dont forget to visit the old drug store for ice-cream and soda!

My stay at The Pink Dolphin was so much more comfortable than any hotel I've ever been to. My boyfriend and I stayed in the carolina room and it was so beautiful. Dianne and Tom were amazing and thought of everything. Dianne is also a wonderfull cook and they even put up with the fact we are both insomniacs. The bed was so nice and soft i didn't want to get out. We got the romance and roses package and it truly was a romantic and relaxing setting. The house is right off the Summerville exit, easy to find, and just mins from shopping, theaters, and resturants. I would definitely recommend booking a room next time you visit Charleston.
