Came to town to see the Cowpens National Battlefield and couldn't be happier. Only a half hour from there, about 5 minutes from downtown Spartanburg and the shopping mall, and located right off I-85 business, the Courtyard's rooms were spacious (for one person), clean and quiet. Front desk was extremely helpful with any questions (as goofy as some of them sounded) and sounded genuinely interested in the outcome. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to the battlefield or to the Greenville-Spartanburg area in general.

The staff and management was very friendly and accommodating when I need to make last minute reservations during a trip to visit family. Overall, the hotel shows it's age, but it is clean with all the things you expect from a Marriott property. As always, I enjoy being able to relax in their spa. The front desk and cafe staff provided exceptional service when assisting me with a few special requests. The manager handled what could have been a serious situation involving a hypodermic needle with the utmost professionalism. I will make this a regular stop when visiting family in the area.

Got room cheap from priceline. It was very clean, mini frige, king bed, room didn't smell or look dirty. Check out was noon, thats nice, check in was quick and easy.

My wife and I have stayed at this property several times over the years. At one time, I would have considered this a good Courtyard, but they have done little over time to improve the experience while our expectations for good hotels have increased. The hotel was clean this trip, but no improvements have been made to the rooms. The HVAC was noisy and could not be temp. controlled to any degree of accuracy. Plus the blower created a draft in the room. It was either no air or a breeze (and this was on low fan speed). The lobby was as it always has been, and I've stayed at this hotel for thirty years so, dated is probably a good description. The staff was neither good nor bad. Just seemed disinterested in their guests. No WiFi except in the lobby. I'm Marriott gold, but was not offered an upgraded room. In all,this hotel is pretty plain and not a good value. My guess is it will not be around much longer.
