“Band-aid used to cover holes, Yes a band-aid.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2012 NEW

Don't let the lobbies fresh smell fool you. Staff was friendly, however once you step into the room (ours was #208) nothing friendly about it. Rug old&dirty, floor in bathroom dirty as can be. Shower curtain to small for bathtub. Sink had huge rust stains on it. TV is from the 1970's and their way of doing maintenance is putting a band-aid over the holes on the wall. Oh did I mention the towels or should I say the sandpaper. The desk chair looked like a dalmation black with bunch of white spots all over it. The mattress sheets were stained altough the mattress was comfy, go figure. Don't stay her. Much rather sleep in my car. We will never ever stay in any days inn again, even if it's free, thanks but no thanks.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel! Don't stay here!

“Not the Best on 95”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 April 2012

This is a low upkeep hotel on the I-95 route. You can do better. Mostly clean but worn rooms. Refrigerator was noise. Curtains barely hung to the walls. Not much of a breakfast either.

“Hotel was awful!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 April 2012

We have stayed at plenty of Days Inn Hotels and have been very satisfied. This one was the exception. It was awful. Dirty, smelled bad and not updated in years. The bathroom smelled like a urinal. The flooring was coming off of the bathroom causing it to mold underneath. The sheets on the bed were a joke, we place beach towels over them. Stay at the Quality Inn across the street. The only reason we stayed here was bc we needed a place to sleep if my kids weren't exhausted I would of have left.

“NASTY! NASTY! NASTY!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 April 2012

Only reason I stayed at this hotel is because we had been driving all day and were dead tired. We planned on driving through the night the rest of the way home which was just over 4 hours away, but were so tired come 10:00 that we decided to just stop and get a cheap room to sleep. The only good thing I can say about this room is that it was cheap and did offer some sort of breakfast. The sheets were nasty worn and had holes in them. Instead of using a fitted sheet they used a flat sheet to make the bed. It was not even big enough so about 4 inches of mattress was showing at the top. All night long the sheet kept coming off and the mattress looked nasty so I was scared for my kids to sleep on a bare mattress. If they wouldn't have already been asleep I seriously would have went to another hotel. I left them sleeping in their clothes so come morning we could get out of there as quickly as possible. The bathroom floor was dingy looking and the wall above the shower had a huge hole in the wall. Above the bed there was a big water stain on the wall and ceiling where there had been a leak. They tried to paint over it, but there was mold on the wall still showing through. The maid apparently did not do a good job cleaning the room previously because there was trash leftover from the previous occupants behind the night stand and on the dresser. We were told we were put in a non smoking room yet there was an ash tray by the bed and cigarette burns on the bed spread. The breakfast was a little surprising with biscuits and waffles, not what you would expect of an average continental. However I was scared to eat it because the dining area did not look very clean. We wound up going to the McDonalds down the street on our way out of town. When we went to check out I planned on telling the person at the front desk how disgusted I was with the room, but she could not get off her cell phone long enough to even greet me. Terrible service, terrible room, terrible everything! Whatever you do don't stay here. Go farther up the road to one of the bigger cities or check out one of the other hotels on this street. Just don't stay here!

“Way below average interstate motel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2012

We were exploring for fun and found the interstate motels at the Point South (next exit north) were all full, so we drove down to this exit & thought a days in would be safe bet. Room 2nd floor in back with one double was 80.00 per night. Desperate, we took it. The bed was low to the floor, thin old mattress, no mattress pad, very worn sheets AND the water did not work. They moved us to a front 2nd floor room with 2 beds . The sheets were gross, door had no security latch - it had been torn off, the door had been jimmied before & had a steel plate on it. Heard a violent fight during the night outside. Not only no apology for room, they tried to charge more for 2nd room. Frightening place

Room Tip: Seriously doubt any rooms are good
