This is a typical days inn. The room was quite sufficent, more quiet than usual. The breakfast was also the usual, but lo and behold! Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs. Not found at very many places.Price was nice, and yes, we would stay there again.

I rented two rooms at this location. We used the red and green coupon books which we've used many times with no problem. The hotel wasn't very busy but the owner put us on the second floor at the back of the building in older rooms. I asked if we could be on the first floor and he said we could for three dollars more per room. I asked if we could have the better rooms and he said not if we used the coupons. I've never experienced this before.

When we were given the room keys he first looked through a stack of old room key pouches and found them and put our keys in them. The pouches were soiled. I couldn't believe he would be so cheap as to use old pouches. It's so unsanitary. Who knows where those pouches have been. Even the room keys looked like they have been used many times. Also in both rooms the water temperature was set to lukewarm. We couldn't even have a hot shower. The bathroom floor was not clean and the carpet in the sleeping area was not very clean either. I didn't take my shoes off. The room smelled musty and you could definately tell it was a smoking room not long ago. When I went to use a bed a noticed a few hairs in the bed. I leaned down to smell the linens and they definetely were not clean and fresh. Someone had definately slept in those sheets. I used the other bed that did not have any hairs in it and still didn't smell clean and fresh. This owner is very cheap and doesn't stop at anything to save money. The orange juice was Sunny D which is the cheapest orange juice going and filled with all sorts of chemicals.

I travel a lot and still stayed in hotels for the next five days. When we saw a Day's Inn we still felt bad about how we were treated we didn't even bother to use this chain any more even though I realize it's not fair to other Day's Inns that are very nice like the one we stayed at in Sarasota.

Room smelled bad, had mold in bathroom and carpet felt dirty when walking on it. Definately would not recommend staying here.

It had been a while since I stayed at a Days Inn, so as we drove to our vacation destination we pulled off the main highway looking for a decent hotel room at a reasonable price... Smething I used to feel confident with the Days Inn chain.

What we got was "Motel 6" under a different name. The towels were so hard I could have used them to sand paint off the walls. The night staff when we checked in seemed less than thrilled, but I excused that as typical night staff. Unfortunately, the daytime staff the next day was no better. The room was less than clean. the breakfast far less than advertised and the manager's daughter switching the remote to watch SpongeBob in the breakfast room while we ate was a bit less than professional. Oh and the "free wifi in every room"... HA! I had to walk all the way down the corridor until I was right across from the office before I could get a usable signal.

We accidentally left my young daughter's stuffed animal in her bed and when I called, LATER.THAT SAME DAY, they had no idea what we were talking about. gee, I wonder if the same little brat from breakfast got a new stuffed animal that day- wanna bet?

Anyway, it was cheap enough, that's all it had going for it. Should have spent the extra $10 and stayed at the La Quinta across the street.
