Stayed just after Labor Day with family and my young child. We stayed in one of the cottages primarily for the a/c option. First thing that we weren't aware of prior to booking was this Inn is NOT AT ALL handicapped accessible. There were ALOT of steps to get in and out of this Inn. Also the cottage we stayed in faced the "marsh" which was fine and we expected that, however what we didn't know prior to booking was that between the "marsh" and our cottage was a busy street and parking lot for the guests of the Inn. So, early in the morning all of the delivery trucks would drive up and down this street to load and unload items for the Inn and other locations up and down the street. It made for early wake ups during our vacation. This Inn advertises how relaxing it is...and IT IS. There are no tv's, radios, telephones or even clocks but tons of rocking chairs, a hammock, books/games, and the Ocean Front view of the Ocean and sand/beach. This place had all of the "toys" for the beach including inner tubes, chairs, sand toys for the use of the guests staying there. Three meals a day are included in your stay. I'm sure we all gained at least 5 lbs with the meals. Most were very good but so heavy. We usually weren't even hungry for the evening meal as the mid day meal was so filling. And, dessert is included with BOTH lunch and supper. All in all I enjoyed my stay immensely and would go back again in a few years. Ms. Francis and the ladies in the kitchen were the Best and we will certainly miss seeing them. Brian, you run a great Inn and seeing your smiling face in the mornings was a pleasure and made us feel we were at home.
