We chose this hotel to stop at on our way from Ohio to Florida. Traveling with our 2 children, 7 yrs. and 5 yrs. The location is super convenient right off of I-26, very easy on and off. We didn't spend that much time at the hotel, as we arrived around 8pm and went across the street to eat dinner and then back to our room to sleep. We were then up very early around 6am to check out and get back on the road. Let me start by saying I am extremely picky about hotel rooms! I am the one who goes in before my hubby and kids with my flashlight in hand to scope out the cleanliness and to check for bedbugs of course, so my inspection is pretty detailed. The room we had was spacious, bathroom was clean, beds were clean and comfortable, and no bedbugs (which is something I worry about a lot going to hotels, so I have educated myself on what to look for). The only complaint I really have about the room we were in, is that the carpet along the sides near the wall all over the room, could have used some serious vacuuming and that there was a ton of dust behind the nightstand. Other than that, we simply needed a place to lay our heads for a night and again, the beds were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel could use some updating, but we would use this one again for a quick overnight on the road.
