Overall, this place is just fine. The rooms and public areas have obviously been remodeled fairly recently, but you need to understand it's an older hotel. The rooms are considerably smaller, and the room entrances are from the exterior rather than from an interior hallway. There is no way to access the lobby and breakfast area without walking around the side of the building. On the other hand, the bed was quite comfortable and the whole place was as clean as could be. Our room was very quiet. It was also nice to have the car only about 10 feet away from our room door. This made for easy unloading and loading. So, the older design has its good and bad points. Especially for an overnight stay, you really couldn't ask for anything more, especially at the price. The breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn fare. If you stay away from their over done scrambled egg concoctions, the rest of the breakfast bar is ok and is very well presented. The people here keep the area clean and well stocked. The staff was very pleasant. We'd have no qualms about staying here again.
