You won't find fancy decor or even freshly painted walls. Typically, we wouldn't stay here, as we weren't sure about it based upon outside appearance. But, when travelling with a large dog, we weren't left with many choices. The Country Inn and Suites accepts pets but at over $102 a night! Here at the HoJo, we were able to stay with a pet and tax for $66!! That is a great rate and includes a free continental breakfast! The decor is old, but we saw rooms that were being worked on for apparent updates. Ours had partially new paint, but must not have been though the updating. The room was clean, but very basic. However, things like shampoos/conditioners, iron, hairdryer, safe, micro/frige, and newer accent furniture were in the room. Yet the bedding, and some fixtures and walls were old and in need of repair. They are definitely updating, but seemingly slowly. I wouldn't recommend this to friends and family really, unless they needed an inexpensive room for a pet. Pet travel, even ours who is clean and well kept and behaved, keeps choices minimal!
