When you drive up the place looks okay. It is just not a place I would stay again. It had a sofa that needs burnt, we moved the TV stand to plug in something and it was real clear the cleaning crew had never moved it. There were dead bugs behind there. The desk lady was very nice. Find someplace else if ya can.

We needed a place to stay for one night while traveling back to Florida from Tennessee. We were looking for a hotel that was clean and reasonably priced. The Econo Lodge was just that- very reasonably priced and clean enough. It's not pristine and it needs updating, but it was quiet and served it's purpose. The clerk at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if we needed a place to crash for a night to break up a long drive.

My family and I went to the Univerisity's homecoming this weekend. When we pulled up it looked like it was going to be fairly decent but when we got in the room it was another story. The room was so dirty. The carpet had visible dust on it, there were holes and spiderwebs on the walls, it smelled of must, the couch was so dirty it looked like you could catch something by simply sitting on it, and there were flies in the room. All of the hotels for that weekend were sold out, so my dad and I endured a night of disgust in the room. Because it was so dirty, we wouldn't even think about getting underneathe the covers. We stayed fully dressed and slept on top of the overs and used our jackets and blankets and some of our shirts to go on top of the pillows...Disgusting! Do not take a chance there. This place needs to be condemned!

We stayed at Orangeburg traveling back from West Virginia. We have 2 small dogs. Sometimes, places that accept dogs are not quite up to snuff. This Quality Inn is not only comfortable and clean, but it has friendly staff and great beds and is very good quality for a dog friendly place. I highly recommend this hotel.
