This was a very nice stay down at the beach. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, breakfast was awesome, overall I will stay here again and again...

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights at this hotel. It is situated along the beach which is just a stone's throw from most tourist attractions and in a very quiet part of town. We had an ocean front room which was very clean and serviced daily. There was a well equip ted kitchenette which comes in very handy if you don't feel like eating out. We were very impressed with the front desk services. They were so eager to assist us with information about places to visit or with driving directions. The hot breakfast was adequate and the dining area was clean and inviting. We took some amazing pictures of the sun- rise from the balcony. This hotel met and exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.

My wife and I spent out last 2 days in Myrtle Beach at the Ocean Sands Resort based on the reviews.Great front desk people and a good breakfast in the morning. The air was broken in our room and they up graded us within minutes. It's an older hotel but clean with a good location.......and at a good price for an oceanfront. Like most..we'll be back.

This is a pretty good hotel. It suffers in some areas from the "worn out" look that is so common in Myrtle Beach, but it's clean and well cared for. The staff is very helpful and considerate. My room was ocean front, with a good view of the ocean. There was a bed on the ocean-side and a sleeper couch on the other. In between was the bathroom and a very serviceable kitchen, where you could cook a full meal if you wanted to. There was a nice balcony, too. This hotel is better than the Bay Watch, if you're considering that one. The "off-season" rate resulted in a very fair price for the stay.
