My husband and I and our little jack russell stayed at the Edgewater in Oct 2011. Absolutely THE BEST PLACE FOR GUESTS and pets. Terry was sooo helpful and friendly.One of the cleanest places we have stayed.Terry makes you feel so welcomed. Will definetly stay again.Only complaint is that we did not have more time.

we went to Edgewater inn in 2010 and stayed for a week. Terry made us feel at home and comfortable. I told him i was going to go and play golf and he suggested a course up the road much cheaper and a lot closer than the one i was going to. My fiance', now wife, and i enjoyed the whole experience. I proposed and she accepted that trip. One year later we went back and pretty much locked down the hotel with our family and friends who came down to see the wedding. Terry had told us that he would make it special and he did. The personal service and the feeling of being at home there was unlike any other trip we had taken. The rooms were clean and you are directly across from the public beach access. Terry also knows all the best places to eat and enjoy your trip to North Myrtle Beach. This is truly a hotel that is affordable, clean, and a great deal.

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Edgewater in July of 2011. This was a "last minute" vacation and we wanted to take our two small dogs. It is very difficult to find pet friendly lodgings in Myrtle Beach, so we were happy to discover the Edgewater. The location is right across the street from the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. This is really an inn, not a motel. There is no maid service, so be aware that you'll be sweeping out the sand, cleaning the kitchen up if you stay in an efficiency and picking up clean towels from the laundry room every day. This didn't bother us and I will say that our room was very clean when we arrived. Management is very nice and friendly. The Tiki Bar is great and a nice place to chat with the other guests.

This place was awesome!!! It is pet-friendly so we could bring our little buddy! VERY close to the beach and had a great view. Loved the patio right outside our room!! Sweet and caring people that work there. It was comfy and clean,felt just like home when we stayed there. THIS PLACE WAS OVER ALL AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
