“Very Nice Condo”

My family stayed in River Crossings and Ironwood. We enjoyed our stay. The condos were clean and the grounds were also well manicured. My sister and spouse had two twin mattresses on their king size bed. This was uncomfortable for them, but they managed. We liked the fact that we were near restaurants, attractions, restaurants and shopping. The location was very good. The Wi-Fi didn't work very well and the amenities on site were okay. There were no elevators in River Crossings, so we walked to the 3rd floor. Overall, I would recommend this property because there are so many places to choose from. I plan on booking here again in the near future.

Room Tip: Request for Edgewater property and request 1st Floor if stairs are problem.

“My family loves this place!”

This resort is made up of several condo style buildings and some rental homes as well. The grounds are beautiful and the location is excellent! While it's not on the beach, the beach is just about a 2-3 minute drive down the street. It's not too far to walk but I wouldn't recommend it especially with little kids, you have to cross a very busy highway to get to the side where the beach is. There was about 20 of u's total, we had 2 rooms at Cypress Bend and 1 at Arbor Trace. The rooms were spacious and decorated really nice. But the Arbor Trace room was the best but slightly smaller. The pools are basic, no fancy play area for the kids but they still had a blast. This is now our go-to spot when we visit MB, handsdown!

“Perfect- Ironwood #1121”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

Had a great time at Barefoot Landing Resort Labor Day weekend. Booked this 2 bedroom on Expedia for $268 including all taxes and fees for 2 nights. We were pleased with the rate-better than hotel prices for 2 rooms. Condo was very clean which is a high priority for us. The unit was above an overflow parking lot with a view of a pond beside the golf course, which was divided by tall trees. We were pleased with the view from the 2nd story deck. Nice shade in the morning on the deck to start the morning off. The beds were comfortable which was great. One bedroom had a queen and the other had 2 twins. The unit had dvds and we enjoyed watching 'Rainmaker.' We enjoyed walks on the paved trail at the golf course; just be sure you are aware of the hours that pedestrians are not allowed on the trail while golfers are using the course. The location is private, yet great restaurants and shopping is conveniently located. We would definitely recommend. One side note, however, is that we were not able to check in until 4:45 pm rather than the 3:00 pm check in. The unit wasn't clean yet. Beach Vacations who took care of the booking on Expedia didn't apologize or make any considerations due to this. This is poor service; it was a pretty late check-in as it was. Great weather and great seafood while in Myrtle Beach.

Room Tip: No elevator to second floor. Nice view from deck . Some condos' decks overlooked a parking lot...

“Great community just blocks away from the beach !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

This is a wonderful place to stay. You can choose from so many options, from a condo nestled back on the golf course to one pool side!! The North Tower condo's boast a huge pool that is very kid friendly !! The Docksiders grill stays poolside and serves up great drinks as well as delivering food right to you!! The condos on the golf course are great for that home away from home and each section of condos has it's own smaller pools. In peak season there are shuttle that take you right accross to the beach !! Right at the resort you have access to Alligator Adventures, House of Blues and the great shopping and entertainment of barefoot landing itself !! Best place in North Myrtle by far!!!

Can not wait to go back!!

“Clean & Adequate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2011

We stayed in the Willow Bend community of the Barefoot resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit that was spacious and adequately cleaned. The unit was individually owned and managed by by a real estate agency Tartan Management. So there's no front desk or concierge. While the unit adequately met out needs it is not a luxury unit. A few minor concerns were the paint in the master bathroom shower was significantly chipping; the bed mattresses and the sofa was extremely soft as well. The grounds in the community were well groomed. There was adequate parking and the community was quiet. Photos of the room were accurate.
