We rented room 902 thru Elliott Rental. When we arrived it wasn't ready by the appointed time. When we got in the room it didn't smell very good. We eventually realized that the Berber carpet couldn't have been vacuumed in a long time. The vacuum in the closet didn't appear to work. I used a broom and swept all the carpet after getting unpacked. There was toothpaste left behind on the faucets that barely worked. We were told someone would be by later to replace the light bulb in the master bath-they came to do that 6 days later after my husband had already fixed the outlet so the light bulb in it would work. After walking around in the room with no shoes on-our socks were ruined/bottom of feet were black from the filthy floors. The cabinet doors were loose and hanging crooked. There was candy wrappers and pcs of candy behind nitestands. The dryer vent was messed up and blew the hot air back out in the room. We found several socks people had left behind in various places that shouldve been cleaned and the socks thrown away suc as under the edge of the couch, in closets, behind dresser. There were nail clippings in the floor of the third bedroom where noone has bothered to clean this place in a very long time. Later, I realized this room 902 is on the market and maybe the all the rooms at this place aren't this bad. But I will never use Elliott Rentals again to find a place to stay while at the beach. Their pictures give a differed impression of what you are getting for your money. And the reason they don't show photos of the bathrooms is plain and simple-it's because they are cheap and won't pay enough help to clean the rooms correctly.
