We stayed there for their New Years Special which included bands Friday and Saturday nights plus a nice breakfast buffet Saturday and Sunday mornings. The price included the room, tickets to the Spanish Galleon for two nights and the breakfast buffet for the two mornings. Also included was a New Years Eve buffet which was excellent plus hats and noise makers to bring in the New Year. The music was great, the room was nice and the food was very good. There is an indoor pool and hot tub for cooler seasons. We will probably return again.

The thing w/ this place is the front desk. They're the unfriendliest people I've ever been around in the South, let alone at a hotel. The rooms are not too bad. Kinda old but fine for the money. Don't expect any customer service. If this is not important to you than this hotel is a high 3 rating. I expect some element of appreciation for my business, especially in the off-season. Not even a 'thank you' when I left. Pi-ti-ful, pi-ti-ful. Also I would like to mention that they don't take Am-Ex either. Now I know some places don't but it's hard to believe a place that claims to be a 'beach and golf resort' would not.

I have stayed at the OD Resort several times. It's an older facility but is kept well. Beautiful views from every room we've stayed in. Not the most modern looking room furnishings but clean. Very kid friendly. And they are everywhere. Huge clean beach right in front. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and entertainment.

Our stay was off season. Just as with another reviewer, the desk clerk offered to upgrade our room from oceanview to oceanfront. Room was clean, pleanty of clean towels etc. A kitchenette with microwave, toaster, small refrig. & sink are included, saving on meals which can be an expense in MB. Weather was cold & heater worked well.King bed was comfortable, couldn't tell when other person moved or got up. Convenient to Main Street & Edge expressway to get to Rt. 31. 3 speedy elevators.There is a popular night spot located in the building, so main parkin lot can fill up, but there is more parking next door & across street. Would definately return.
