The rooms were clean and the housekeeping service was good. The hot breakfast was good and always and space was always neat. The pool looked good but we didn't use it. There is plenty of parking. Good value in a less expensive hotel.

Spent a night there recently, visiting friends who live in Charleson. I have only minor complaints about the room (more power outlets & better placement of them - please!). Staff were friendly and helpful in all the situations I dealt with them.

I'll probably stay downtown next time, but that's more a reflection of me wanting to be more of a tourist.

I always use tripadvisor before I decide where to stay, but sometimes you don't have time... We were tired and hungry and saw the Days Inn sign on the road, and decided to check it out. Unfriendly women in receptionen demanded my passport and creditcard within a second but we asked to have a look at the room before. Thank God we did...

The two of us entered the room and this is what happened: within 30 seconds we noticed it was a old, dirty room, we found ants in the bathroom, a dead coachroach on the carpet and a small bug (bedbug) on the nightstand. All this within 30 sec!!

We ran out of the room and threw the key card to the receptionist and put the pedal to the metal. It's really easy to get a first impression of a room and this is probably the worst I have seen.

THE POSITIVE RATINGS BENEATH IS CLEARLY WRITTEN BY THE STAFF AND/OR OWNERS!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS NEIGHTMARE

Not a great hotel to begin with but when the power went off there were barely any emergency lights in the hallway and only one on in the stairwell!
