We atayed here for five nights while I was attending a show at the convention center. The hotel was clean and pleasant, with a friendly, helpful staff. We used the pool (excellent!), the guest laundry, and the refrigerator/microwave (the last extensively). The free wi-fi worked well. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was a bit heavy on sugary items, but it was nice not to have to leave the hotel first thing in the morning.

We found plenty of good choices for meals a short drive away, but the lack of sidewalks meant that only a Waffle House was really walkable. I intended to go there until I saw ashtrays on the table and patrons using them. :( This is not, of couse, the fault of the hotel!

I'd stay there again.

My husband and I recently took a 13-day road trip, and pre-booked most of our motel stays in advance, near attractions we wanted to visit. On a strict budget, we were looking for economy without scrimping on the basic necessities. Even though it was a 15-20 minute drive into Charleston, we chose to stay here because the rates were cheaper than in Charleston. This was our first stay at a Sleep Inn and we were very pleased. Our king room was under $100. It was large and bright, very clean, had a very comfy bed, a large closet, and a large, bright bathroom, with all the amenities. The free WiFi worked fine. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations in Charleston. The complimentary breakfast bar was okay - not restaurant quality, but it was sufficient and free! My only complaint would be the placement of the desk in our room was not practical; when I was seated there, working on my laptop, there was no room to walk past between the chair and the bed. But overall, this was not a big deal. This place was comfortable, clean and a good value for us, and we would definitely stay here again if we come back to Charleston.

A good bed is important to me. this hotel is one of 3 that have a very comfortable bed. The room was clean and the employees are polite. The welcome desk was very helpful in recommending a restaurant to eat at. the breakfast was what we usually eat. Like cereal, fruit, toast etc. If you want a cooked breakfast, it is better to go out to eat. The "only" issue I had with the bed is, short people need a stool to get in bed. Being 5 ft. tall this is a problem. But that wouldn't deter me from coming back.

My wife and I stayed at the Sleep Inn for two nights, while trying to catch a "Space-A" flight (which means we checked out and checked in again each night). The hotel was a good, solid hotel, with prices a notch lower than similar (nice, doors-to-the-inside) hotels in the area. However, they really shined the night we didn't stay there...
After failing to catch a flight for the third day in the room, we went back to the Sleep Inn, very satisfied with our first two nights. Unfortunately, there was no room at the inn. But, the manager on duty made it his personal quest to get us a great room at a good rate elsewhere. He called no less than 7 other hotels, told them we were loyal customers but that they were out of rooms, and literally haggled with them on the phone to get us the best rate possible. This made a stressful situation for us so much better. The manager had little to gain from this, but he definitely earned our future business.
One small drawback - the internet works (and has good coverage for wireless), but it wasn't the fastest. Email is fine; I wouldn't plan on streaming video though.
