I stayed there for 2 nights. As mentioned before, no elevator, and all room doors outside. I would not recommend this hotel for females traveling alone. When I returned to my hotel in the late evening, it was very dark, and I did not feel very safe going up the stairs all by myself. Someone could have been lurking around, and no security to check out the premise at night. If there was security, I sure did not see it.

The room was ok for the price. I booked through hotwire so I only paid $48. Definately not worth full price.

No pool, no breakfast. My parents stayed at La quinta Inn a few exits down, which was much better for the same price (through hotwire again).

I am the travel agent that booked the 10 rooms for the family that stayed over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend 2005. After receiving the complaints I contacted the corporate office and was told that they would have the property manager give me a call, which they did. The property manager, Nicole, repeatedly said I'm sorry in a way that showed she was only saying what was expected. She never took ownership of any of the problems my clients encountered. The only reason this dump was booked was because there was nothing else that was affordable on short notice. Even at that, this place should be condemned. No one should be allowed to rent it to the public. If it is under construction, then it should be closed until completed. The property manager did not deal with me, the travel agent, in a professional manner. I have had properties to bend over backwards to resolve an issue that a client has brought to their attention. I was told that they would reimburse the guests for the add'l $10 they charged. Only time will tell if that happens. I just don't want anyone else to stay there under the conditions my clients were put in. No decent person should have to put up with the DUMP! By the way, the personnel reflected the property!

We booked 10 rooms for our Family Reunion at this hotel for the Memorial Day Weekend 2005. The pictures they use to advertise IS NOT the same hotel. All of the rooms are on the exterior and there is no elevator. There is dog doo all over the walkways and the hotel cleaning staff walked around the stuff several times instead of cleaning it up. We were quoted $59 a night, but they charged some of us $69 a night for the first two nights and $59 for the last night. The hotel manager, Melissa, is very rude and unprofessional. But I guess she matches the property! One of the rooms had bugs and spiders and our family member complained at the front desk and got a full refund on the spot. Three sets of family had reservations and when they arrived there were no rooms. They had to find other accommodations after driving most of the day to get there. The office is not manned from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and the after hours number is never answered. In one of the rooms, we had to pour water down the toilet bowl in order to get it to flush. The room numbers are "taped" to the windows of the rooms, there is nothing on the door to identify the rooms and some of the rooms have no numbers as they have fallen off and not been replaced. There is no breakfast and no pool. Because of this experience, we will NEVER stay at an Extended Stay Hotel ANYWHERE!

I have to admit, I should have known I'd be getting what I paid for!!!

This property is QUITE inexpensive for the Charleston area, but OH MY GOD I wish I would have paid more for a better place. The entrances are all outside and there's only stairs, so eventually I'll have to drag all my stuff up 3 flights of outside stairs to the 3rd floor.

The rooms are tiny and smell of old smoke and cheap air freshener. There is construction going on here at the hotel, and it seems like most of the other guests I've seen are most likely the construction workers, except of course for the guy on the first floor who's room was right in front of where I parked, who was peering out his door watching me get out of my car. He reminded me of "Boo" from "To Kill a Mockingbird".

Also, personally I think the neighborhood around this hotel is quite iffy. It's on a hotel row right off I-26, and from the look of things nearby, I sure wouldn't recommend going for an evening stroll without packing your glock. It's not really close to anything that makes Charleston such a special place, other than the airport, which is really not that special.

There is a bright green, partially scummed over sewer lake thing out in front of the hotel. Let it serve as a warning to the unsuspecting!
