We always stay at this Homewood Suites while in Charleston. It's clean, spacious and quiet. This year we got upgraded to the 2-bed suite on the 3rd floor and it was fantastic! Close to the airport and you can walk to the Tanger Outlet Mall. We'll be back!

This hotel was gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is new. The breakfast and dinner are delicious. The hotel is 9 minutes from the historic district. The movie theatre is around the corner and so is the outlet mall. There are numerous restaurants withing walking distance and a WalMart. I would stay here again if we return to Charleston!!

This is a gorgeous hotel and close to everything. Customer Service was excellent. We had some issues trying to get into our room; Bill was able to fix it without a problem. Stephanie at the Front Desk was quite pleasant. The lady (Anna?) who covered the Dining Room for dinner 11/24/2011 and for breakfast 11/25/2011 was exceptional.

The 2 queen bed suite was smaller then what I am use to with Homewood Suites. We were in room 318. The tub in the bathroom to my surprise was dirty.There was a ring of dirt in the tub. I notified the front desk the next day because we were all tired after a 5hr ride. I was told housekeeping would take care of it. We did leave the room at 12:00 p.m 11/25/2011 and returned at 8:30 p.m. No one from housekeeping came to the room.

The front desk was notified again at check-out.

My overall visit was good. Housekeeping can make a break an experience.

After reading all the reviews on TA, we decided that the Homewood would be a perfect fit for our 4 days in the Charleston area. We weren't disappointed. It was 10 minutes to Blackbaud Stadium (which was our primary destination), 20 minutes to Folly Beach and the Old City. We were traveling with our two sons, both in their early 20's. The boys have been traveling together since they were small, and are accustom to sharing a bed as long as they are queen size or larger (although it's not their first choice). When we checked in, the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, upgraded our reservation to a 2 bedroom suite. It was perfect. My husband and I had a king bed and our own bath, while the boys each had their own queen bed and shared a bath. The living area was perfect for 3 people to sit comfortably and watch TV. You could squeeze a 4th adult on the couch, but that's pushing it a bit. The beds were of Hilton quality however the pillows were a little hard, but that was easily resolved when we asked at the front desk. Housekeeping brought up 4 down pillows, that were perfect.

I'm not usually one to eat much more than a bagel, fruit and yogurt at most hotels offering breakfast. However, this Homewood was a exception. EVERYTHING they brought out was hot, fresh and hadn't been sitting for hours. The selection changed every day and certainly didn't disappoint.

Lastly, the customer service at this hotel was exceptional. Every single person greeted you and smiled. We will definitely be back!
