We booked here due to proximity to the North Charleston Coliseum, we were in town for the Jimmy Buffett concert (fins up!!). We were not disappointed! We were a little early, arriving around noon, but checkin was not a problem. The manager greeted us as well, and several employees spoke to us throughout our stay. We had a room on the fourth floor, and it was clean and well-appointed. The dinner (Sun-Thurs) and breakfast (every day) was very good, particularly the breakfast. If you are willing to make a short walk, it took us 10 minutes or so to walk to the door of the coliseum, no issues. They did have a shuttle running also. We drove to downtown and Mt Pleasant, it was a quick drive down the Interstate. The location was very convenient to the Tanger Outlets, and there is a nice-ish Wal*Mart/shopping center nearby. There was a Firehouse Subs across the parking lot, and a Panera Bread nearby. I would definitely stay here again on future trips to Charleston.
Two quick negatives I want to mention, these were non-issues for us but thought I should mention them to give a complete review. First, we did occasionally get noise from planes, but since Charleston airport is not overly busy they were far and few between. Also, they really should put up a privacy fence on the rear of the property to block the view of the overgrown lot, and Days Inn just past it. Not a great view...
