We really enjoyed our stay. The motel is so close to the beach, you can see the ocean from the decks. Everything you need is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and considerably larger than the chain motels that we usually stay at while we are there, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be back often.

i will never stay here again - the room was stinky & very dirty- i had a bag missing out of my room- not helpful at all-never again

The Outrigger is a great value for the money. It is currently undergoing some updating by the new owner, but with little inconvenience to the guests. This motel is in the heart of Mrytle Beach within walking distance of many eating and shopping establishments and just a minute or two walk to the beach. I have stayed there several times so far this year and have enjoyed each stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the proprietor has always promptly taken care of any problems I may have had with my room or linens, which have been few. I will definitely stay at this motel again many times in the years to come.

Me and my family stayed there for a week, and we really did not mind that it was'nt on the beach because it was only about 100feet from the beach, and the pool was great. the new owner mike was very nice. he had a b.b.Q. for his quest and the food was excellent. and the best part was it was FREE! you cant beat free! my room was very nice he has done alot of remodeling on the place. I will go back again next year, and tell all my friends about the outrigger.
