We finally had the opportunity to visit Island Vista and were not disappointed. We stayed in a grand one bedroom suite on the penthouse floor. What a great surprise. The suite was beautifully decorated and spacious and the view was beautiful. The restaurant served delicious food and they make their own pizza onsite for room delivery. The heated indoor pool and lazy river are accessible without having to go outside. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit.

I recently went down to the beach area for a little r&r. I was not sure where to stay because of all the various reviews. I decided to book once down there. Best bet.. I stayed first at compass cove which was ok but a little run down. Next I tried the anderson which was actually very nice but a tight layout. Finally I stayed at the ISLAND VISTA and oh boy my "get away" had begun. The PENT HOUSE room I had was 20 bucks more than the anderson and had the best ocean view, the most space of any Myrtle beach hotel I have been too. Not too many amenities here but the lazy river was cool also and an older crowd here. You can also look at the room first to negotiate a good deal during off peak times. Would definitely return. oh for the sea food lover don't forget about Captain George

My wife and needed to get out of the house for the holidays and after much searching we decided to go to Island Vista in Myrtle Beach. We initially had reservations for 5 days but we were having such a great time we called down to the desk and extended our stay to 2 weeks. We really do recommend this Resort to anyone. The staff were great, the condo's were very well appointed. We do not play golf but the beach albeit was cold was very relaxing for walks and the pools were heated, the exercise room was equally good. The resort was very quite even though they were booked during our stay. We will be going back to enjoy this fantastic and reasonably priced resort very soon. Garry and Sharon Eller

This was our first stay at the Island Vista...we used to go when our kids where small and stayed at the old Sea Island...the location drew us back year after year...My husband and I have wanted to try out the new Island Vista for a few years...finally made it over New Years....what a wonderful experience...we had a Grand 3 bedroom condo...very spacious the decorations are beautiful, furniture very comfortable...everything about this resort is 1st class....the service is very good...very friendly...still has that same personal attention feel of the old hotel...its in the best location on the beach...so quiet....outside amenities where very nice too. We love to head to Myrtle Beach for a quick getaway and from now on will stay only at the Island Vista...in fact we plan on taking our kids and their families there....will bring back lots of wonderful memories....
