The Sands offers a little of everything, it have a great beach front enjoyable family swimming area with slides and pool for the kids. Dinning at both modest and higher is available right on the grounds. While I was there I witness a couple being married right on the beach with the reception followed in one of the large meeting rooms in the hotel.

My stay at the sands ocean dunes was extremly enjoyable and I would highly reommend this resort for a vist to Myrtle Beach. The room was an newly remoldeled king size bead, with a large flat screen tv. Go for the sun and enjoy!

I've stayed a few times now, my last visit was with a golf group in Sep. Of 2011. The rooms were clean And comfortable. The property itself is nice; with a nice oceanfront restaurant for breakfast, River City Cafe for great burgers, Ocean Annies, and Sandals Lounge for drinks and entertainment. Nice pools, and hot tubs, as well as workout room, and the Atlantis Spa for a great massage! a great location, close to restaurant row and kings hwy.

Have been staying at Sands Ocean Club for years and it is always my number one choice for accommodations. If you are looking for a contemporary, shiny, glitzy, impersonal hotel this is not the place for you. However, if you want the safest place, the warmest staff and the most fun place to stay in Myrtle Beach, Sands Ocean Club is the number one choice! Many of the staff members have worked at this resort for years and it is amazing how many returning visitors they recognize! Start your day off with a delicious omelet and breakfast bar. Enjoy a swim in the softest and warmest indoor pool or soak in the ocean view hot tubs! Get your best burgers and fried zucchini at River City Grill. If you love live music, cold drinks and a full ocean view with some of the friendliest bartenders you will ever meet, then you'll enjoy your play time at Ocean Annie's. Sandal's Karaoke lounge picks up with Happy Hour through late night partying. Freshen up at the Spa with a massage, facial and/or manicure. For over 15 years have stayed at Sand's with friends and I have stayed at Sand's by myself and it is always the first place I look for accommodations! If you want to have a great party time at Myrtle Beach, start your play time at The Sands Ocean Club!
