Stayed over the weekend for a soccer tournie. Our kids (18 and 12) enjoyed the balcony, ocean front room. We had a new fridge and stove, granite countertop, which helped us save money. Our room was clean and staff was very friendly. My daughter liked the coffee bar near the front desk. The parking garage across the street worked well. The restaurant had a good breakfast buffet. This is a nice hotel, but nothing fancy. It's on the MB strip and anything on the strip gets used and abused. Don't set your expectations too high! There are 2 things I really didn't care for: the hotel is pet-friendly, which is fine, but there was a dog barking next door at 2:00am on Sunday morning. I called security and told them to take care of the issue, they did. However, the barking continued. Another item: the 2 hot tubs looked dirty. Other than that, I have no complaints.

This hotel is dated and worn. We were grateful for the off-season rates and the ability to bring our dog, but the condition of the rooms are poor. Upon checking into our room, we found dirty underwear from the previous guests on the floor of our closet. Gross. We called the front desk to report it and they said someone would call back, but they never did. I emailed the "customer service" email and have received no response. The Lazy River area is under remodeling. The hot tubs aren't hot and the "bed and breakfast" buffet deal is a joke. Find another pet-friendly spot (if that's your sole reason for staying here).

We came to south carolina for my daughters husbands graduation from Fort Jackson.. We had to leave early on our trip due to a impending blizzard in our home state so ended up with time on our hands and decided to visit the beach... Though completely off season we loved the beach to ourselves the hometown feeling and and wonderful accomadations at Patricia Grand, pet friendly, wonderful view and miles of beachcombing at our fingertips ended up leaving 5 hours after our scheduled time just to enjoy this wonderful place

Enjoyed the pet friendly. I wish all hotels would allow pets to stay. They are humans just like us. The location was wonderful. It wasn't far from anything.
