my husband and I traveled to myrtle beach for my birthday on february 2, 2012. I know it was out of season but its where I wanted to be. we did not make advance reservations because we knew there would be plenty of vacancys. as my husband drove down the strip he told me to pick any hotel, and I picked the best western carolinians because of the name. the desk clerk was very professional with great hospitality. we booked a standard room for two nights and because it was my birthday he upgraded us to a suite on the 17th floor at a great price. thank you all at best western, I had the best birthday ever.

Nice hotel. Slow and squeaky elevators. Comfortable bed. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one across the hall from the activity center.

Great oceanview tower unit. Beautiful open layout with large rooms and spectacular view of both the ocean and the city. Condo had everything we needed. Great access to restaurants and entertainment. Kids had a blast as well. Very friendly staff and housekeeping. We'll be back again in February. Can't beat the price at that time.

Conveniently located. An aging but well maintained building. Room nicely renovated. Excellent value, having paid $138 for 2 nights. Minimal interaction with staff, but what there was, was pleasant and courteous.
