For the record, I regularly refer to MB as the Redneck Riviera. That being said, this places ROCKS for families with small kids. Indoor pools are warm in the winter for a quick getaway if you want to remind the kids how to swim and it's nice to hit the beach and just walk around with no worries about having to coerce the kids into the ocean.

Rooms are very beach-basic, but all you need for a weekend. Bring a cooler with food if you want to cook in the small kitchen, or walk across the street for a gut-busting, kid-pleasing breakfast.

Basically, a great spot for the family!

We stayed at the hotel for a week and really enjoyed it. There were things on site for the kids to do, lazy river, the boat and other water toys. We had a nice living room with kitchen and dining area and 3 bedrooms. I would stay there again.

I stayed here with a few friends when we stopped in Myrtle Beach for a few nights. It was during off season and the price was great. There is nothing special about the rooms, but they are clean and comfortable. The swim area is great, especially for families. It is also a short walk to many great attractions, including Broadway at the Beach (a long walk but not bad for our group).

This is not a 5 star hotel but is still great value-for-money. Stayed there for several years now on our annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach. Premises is clean and tidy; housekeeping is thorough every day; breakfasts at Papa Johns across the road (included in golf package) are excellent; indoor pool and hottubs are nice. Overall a pleasant stay and we will be back.
