Our family of 5 had a great experience at this hotel. The best part was the beautiful view of the ocean. We had a great vacation and can't wait to visit Myrtle Beach again!

WHAT WE LIKE: quiet location, close to downtown yet not far from Hwy 22, well kept and maintained facility, very clean, staff extremely nice and helpful, indoor pool and jacuzzi. There is a 2-lane road to cross to get to ocean, but for us this is no big deal and you can hear the ocean from the living room. Elevators are fast (23 floors). All things considered and what I have checked out, rates are very reasonable. Each unit is individually owned, but have stayed in many units and all have been nice. Love layout of the condo (enter into hall, not bedroom). To get more or better you're going to PAY MORE, and then you may have other issues, so we will just stick with what we KNOW we like. Try it . . . you'll like it!

My hubby and I stayed here for 1 week and really liked the quietness of the area. We were practically located in the middle of things - weren't far from the main attractions, which was very good! The front desk was very nice and helpful with most requests. Kitchen was clean as well as the rest of the rooms - I think that "the jury is still out" on the cleanliness of the bedding - sheets didn't look/smell fresh enough; but the towels and etc., were very clean. Parking was a real "bear" because of the tight parking in the garage; we had a small car but even that didn't make much of a difference. Overall it was a nice time because I had a real "heads up" from the Trip Advisor's reviews. Thanks! -Patseysays

We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 30 years, but have more or less stayed on the "strip". We decided this year to go further north which brings us to Ocean Forest. The building is not new but it is kept very clean and the staff is very friendly and hospitable. We rented a 1 bedroom suite which advertises that it can accomodate up to 6 people. We were one couple and found it to be ok for us but there is no way six people could spend a week in it without getting on each others nerves. The bedroom consists of 2 double beds, which is supposed to accomodate 4 people, there is no way 4 people could sleep in this bedroom. Take our advice if there are more than 2 of you get a 2 bedroom suite. The northern end of Ocean Blvd, is much quieter that the strip, the beaches are not nearly as crowded and we found there were more seniors in this area, so it is very quiet and peaceful. The grounds are kept immaculate with lots of greenery and flowers. We were oceanfront on the 20th floor so we had fantastic views of the ocean both north and south. The pool is quite large with lots of chaises and we divided our time between the pool and the beach. The indoor parking is not the greatest, the ramps are very narrow so it makes parking somewhat of a difficult task. There is however an outdoor parking lot that is used for vans or pickup trucks, anything that is oversized. Do not park your car here if it isn't a van or truck, you will get a notice from the hotel that you are not allowed to park there. All in all it is a pleasant hotel to stay at, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. The only negative thing we could say is that people smoke and bring alcohol to the pool which in our opinion is not acceptable. We don't know if there is a rule against this but if there isn't the hotel should make a rule about this.
