Cleanest place I have stayed in Myrtle Beach (except caribbean resort but it is 4 times the cost). Nice staff and owners. They WASH the bedspreads! Had 2 bedroom 2 bath 2 tv oceanfront for $80 per night on weekend oct. 8-11, 2010. There are 2 separate buildings and the front is 4 or 5 floors, larger one is about 10 floors. I would choose shorter building due to views. Taller bldg has good views 7th floor and up. Older hotel but very clean, clean pool area. Only bad thing is location at far south of beach n have to walk to get ice cream or drive longer to eat, but not bad. Could use another elevator but it was not very busy this time of year. Liked the beach area. Easy walk to pier.

This property was recommended by a friend and after reading the reviews we decided to book. We were very disappointed with this property it was very old and ran down. The rooms were somewhat clean but the bathrooms were gross! The beds were uncomfortable. The elev. was dirty and the stairways looked like they had never been cleaned. This property is also in the flight path of the airport so it is very noisy. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Been staying here since 1990. Then, we were family of four. Now, my wife and I go back by ourselves. Owners do not put up with guest foolishness. They keep the place quiet for everyone.

Small places like this are slowly disappearing.....very sad to see.

I recommend this to any couple. Staff is very accommodating.

The rooms are Spartan but do have the appointments to make you comfortable. If you go to the beach to stay inside and watch TV....why bother? It is less expensive to stay home.

We stayed here 5 nights for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised. This is an older hotel but was excellently maintained. Everything was VERY clean and our room was big with 2 beds, a small kitchenette and nice ocean front balcony. I couldn't believe we could get ocean front for $51 a night! My mom has stayed here for years and loves it too. There are 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, plenty of lounge chairs both by the pool and in the yard between the hotel and beach. The beach is just steps away. The staff were very friendly both in the office and the cleaning staff. Everyone is very friendly and upbeat. I would definitely stay again!
