Have been too the Dunes 6 times and have loved it everytime .The place is well kept inside and out .. Great location no more then 10 mins too everything . Staff is great and can not wait to go back .

We stayed here in Janurary for a little rest and relaxation. Good decision. The resort is great and they try to offer a lot of activities even in the off season. We were on the 14th floor of the Pine Building and although it is not directly on the beach, there is a great ocean view. The Pine building's location is also terrific because when it is a little chilly, you are right next to the workout facility and indoor pool. I'd go back again especially off season to avoid the crowds and traffic. All the comforts of home away from home.

This resort is one of Marriott's best locations and is the best place to stay in Myrtle Beach.
The service, the amenities, and the Marriott Hotel next door provide all the facilities that you could possibly want. And the beachfront is some of the most isolated beaches on the Grand Strand. If you are a golfer then you will find their Golf Concierge Service to be both convenient and a money saver. One comment: I found other reviewers' remarks about cell phone service at the Ocean Watch to be laughable. Cell phone service depends on your cell phone carrier, not the resort that you are staying at. Our phone carrier gave us two or three bars out of four in the villa. Blaming a resort hotel for your cell phone service is like blaming your car dealer for traffic and potholes.

We stayed at this high rise luxury spacious villa on the way to Orlando from Philadelphia.
The suite was more than what we expected. The suite was clean, luxurious, and spacious.
The family enjoyed the advanced cable with HD features and movies on TV. The kitchen was clean, spacious, and complete with dish cleaning supplies and pots and utensils.
The hotel stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
