My wife and I stayed in a one bedroom unit for week in late September-October and enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra few days. Our daughter flew in to join us mid-week and there was ample space in the living area for her to use the mattress from the fold out bed-sofa. (Like most combo sofas, it was neither a particularly comfortable sofa nor bed).

Camelot is well located with a nice beach and good pools, and is close to the main roads and attractions. It was quiet and all the staff were terrific and helpful.

It could probably use some updating, but unquestionably met all of our needs for a comfortable place to enjoy some late summer sun, with great local food, all at a reasonable price. We'll return in 2012.

I read some of the reviews for this place and after staying there, I realized that some of the reviews had unrealistic expectations. The property is older, but very well maintained. We had a 3 bedroom place with an ocean view just blocks away from attractions for next to nothing. The staff was excellent and if we had any issues they were very quick to fix them. The pool was a little dirty but it is on the beach so of course you will have sand in it. The outside jacuzzi had cigarette butts in it until we notified the staff and it was promptly shut down and cleaned. For the age and traffic of the hotel, the rooms were kept up acceptionally well and was very clean. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and recommend this place.

I am very disappointed in the Condo Rental of #605. It was dirty,.In my opinion filthy.. Food between mattress and box spring. Candy in the other mattress. No Mattress covers. The garbage disposal not working and it stunk. I had to clean the filth around the faucets. The bathtubs were horrible.. The coffee pot was disgusting. Furniture and rugs filthy. A broken chair on the balcony -food thrown out there for the birds. It was a terrible experience. .We had to clean before we could use anything. .

We spent the second weekend in December and it's the best time of the year to do so. There is very little traffic, small crowds and no wait at dinner. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The Camelot also offers free wi-fi. The indoor lazy river was nice, although you do have to walk into the corridor to get on the elevator when you go to your room. You will need to take a cover up in order to stay warm.

There is plenty to do in the area and we were able to go to Broadway at the Beach, the Mall, see the Christmas lights and show at the baseball field and ride the skywheel. Lulu's is located across the street and is a great place to eat breakfast. There is a Starbuck's down the street and Krispy Kreme around the corner.

This is a great place to stay and the price is terrific.
