My wife and I and our dog stayed at the Red Roof Inn, Myrtle Beach on the first night of our return trip home. The room was large, had a fridge, a microwave, and 2 double beds. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. All the rooms were inside hallway rooms. There were several other dogs in adjoining rooms but neither my wife or I or our dog were bothered by any noise or barking dogs from them. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating. There was a small breakfast area next to the lobby but I was told that breakfast was not provided during the winter months. There are several breakfast restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel provides such a great value that even with buying breakfast, the cost of the room and breakfast is still far less than most room costs at hotels that offer a free hot breakfast. It is a short walk to the beach from the hotel. The three of us had an enjoyable relaxing evening in our room and had a good night's sleep. I would recommend this hotel to travellers.

We originally stayed here because of our pets, however, we currently stay here five or six times a year for the past 11 years. All of the staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to accomodate your every need. We have recommend this hotel to all of our friends and they have also had great experiences.

It's nice to find a pet friendly hotel, even though we were not traveling with our furry friend this time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The only noise I heard all night was thru the doorway and from the small refrigerator in the room. Free Wifi and a hair dryer are also provided. The bathroom could use a little repair work, but I find this to be a pretty common problem at a lot of hotels.
