We really enjoyed our visit to this hotel resort. The reason why I say hotel resort is because not only can you stay in the main hotel, you can stay in the condos, also! Initially, we were booked for the hotel, but I asked for an upgrade. The reason I did this was because when I received my hotel confirmation email, there was a notation at the end of the email that said that I could upgrade for a nominal fee - $29. I thought that was reasonable, so I made a note to do this when I checked in. Not only did I ask and receive an upgrade, the upgrade was done for no additional cost!! Maybe this was done because I am a Hilton honors member...IDK, but I really received a great UPGRADE!!
My family and I stayed in the South Hampton (condos). The view of the ocean was outstanding! The customer service was spectacular!!! Our spacious suite with full kitchen, washer and dryer, two full bathrooms, walk-in spa shower, four double beds, three flat screen televisions, fold-out sofa bed and condo-length balcony was awesome! We had more than enough room for everyone!
Although, the hotel was under construction (due to be finished by the end of January), we did not notice. Everything went smoothly.
NOTE: The complimentary breakfast is only for people who stay in the hotel, not the condos. If you use a debit card to hold your reservation and you are going to use cash for the actual transaction, make sure to ask the customer service agent to take your debit card number out of the system; you will be double charged. This happened to me, but the manager on duty corrected it within 24 hours.
Room Tip: We stayed on the 16th floor in the South Hampton. No noise over our heads! Very peaceful!
