We took a trip to myrtle beach in january, we booked a room at this hotel one month in advance, when we arrived we found the place locked up with a note posted on door with a phone number for emergency only and saying they would be open at 8am the next day, when i went back the next day at 8:15am nobody was there until 9:20, they claimed they sent me a email which they did one day before my check in day asking me to make arrangments which i could not do as i had two days of driving to reach there, i see buy others comments this place is a disaster i did not stay, to anyone i suggest take a second look!!!!!!!!

“DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE”

I made the mistake of booking a room for the weekend at this place with out looking for reviews. I booked an ocean view room and did not get it. It smelled like old carpet, the ceiling paint in the bathroom fell on us , the shower head was from 1980 and had not been cleaned so it barely sprayed water. When people next door flushed their toilet it burned us while in the shower. The only way to get any kind of light in the room was to open the window, but, that let all the criminals see inside. There was no sheer curtain to at least keep it somewhat private from the vehicles that were parked 6 inches from it.(literally 6 inches) from the other hotel next door. This place is stuck in the 80's along with the staff at the front. We tried to shorten our stay by a day and were not able to get our money back for the extra day because they have a two week cancellation policy. These people know that their place sucks, and they make no bones about it, they are milking this ride foe everything they can get. NO customer service,NO clean rooms,NO parking, NO comfortable beds

“Nasty, Nasty and just false advertisement”

I could not even rate this hotel or what I would call it somewhere take a shower. Right off the back there is limited parking on site and only two handicap parking spaces. The place was dingy and nasty. It is located next door to a rundown closed hotel. It did have an elevator but if you are handicap forget it because you have to use some steps to get to the elevator. The carpet was nasty and I refused to walk around without any shoes on. My first instinct was to run to the store for some bleach and lysol to clean the room before I put my belongings in. We called for housekeeping and they sent the maintenance man with a spray bottle to freshen the room. Not good.

The only good thing about our stay was we were right on the beach and in the mist of all the attractions.

Stay at your on risk.

“Total Insult for a hotel”

I would never recommend this flea bag hotel to anyone with a decent living standard. The rooms were musty and the carpeting was filthy. Housekeeping is a joke. I personally feel that this hotel should be closed and deemed a health hazard. Never again. Even if the rooms were free.

Room Tip: Musty, filthy carpet and little to no up keep.

Its a very old Motel and it shows. Doors would not shut unless they were slammed. Did not make beds only brought towels sometime during the day. Never swept the floors while we were there. Price was right location was nice because you are with in walking distance of pier 14. It need alot of tender care.
