“Total Insult for a hotel”

I would never recommend this flea bag hotel to anyone with a decent living standard. The rooms were musty and the carpeting was filthy. Housekeeping is a joke. I personally feel that this hotel should be closed and deemed a health hazard. Never again. Even if the rooms were free.

Room Tip: Musty, filthy carpet and little to no up keep.

Its a very old Motel and it shows. Doors would not shut unless they were slammed. Did not make beds only brought towels sometime during the day. Never swept the floors while we were there. Price was right location was nice because you are with in walking distance of pier 14. It need alot of tender care.

“HORRIBLE is AN UNDERSTATEMENT”

My husband was in charge of making the hotel arrangements for his birthday and he booked this hotel. Anticipating being able to play Golf in a Resort-type venue, I cannot even begin to articulate such my utter disappointment. I did not want to ruin my husband's birthdday therefore, I tried hard not to complain; The building is old and run down and should be closed so the city of SC can begin demolition. When My husband handed me an actual door key (vs electronic key card), I was worried. I asked the attendant at the front desk, where are the safe deposit boxes? and she said, they are located at the front desk; therefore, I replied, "so everytime I need to lock my items, I have to come down three flights of stairs to secure them and unsecure them when needed." Really??? Then I told her that the refrigerator was broken and she asked, "is it turned on?" OMG! She said that you have to turn it on; I replied "in most reasonable hotels it is already on, especially when you are expecting me!" Again, not wanting to disappoint my husband, I bit my tongue, really hard. There was no infestation, or I would have been out of there, birthday or not! and we had a nice view but the hotel was so deplorable that we hardly stayed in the room. The button above ask for an overall rating and I give it a "0" with no hesitation!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“We did't like it and will never go back”

The rooms were filthy and falling apart, with no attempt to fix them. We reported the bathroom vent and heat lamp out, and was told they are out in half the rooms, with a smile. My daughter could open the door to the room or the sliding patio door because they were stuck or handle were broken. The only thing that didn’t suck was the staffs vacuum. I would make this my last choice or just not travel
