Great place to stay!!! After deciding we could not spend another night in a bad hotel I walked down the beach and found Oceans One. Checked in the next night and we were so glad we switched. The two ladies manning the desk (Patty??? was one) were so nice even though it was New Years Eve day and they were so busy! Our one bedroom unit was great, even had a washer/dryer and dishwasher. White leather furniture and a great jetted tub! Super clean and a great view of the pier. Again, these ladies were great and so was the property. Thanks ladies!

We have been traveling to Myrtle Beach for over 40 years and Oceans One has become our favourite place to stay. Our most recent stay was for the month of November 2011 which we really enjoyed as we were able to renew old aquaintances and meet new friends ----Oceans One is becoming our home away from home.

We normally stay in a two bedroom unit, but because our grandchildren were paying us a visit during the month, we opted for a three bedroom unit ----good choice as we had plenty of room and our unit was clean & well equiped as usual. Our grandchildren enjoyed the beach and especially swimming in the heated outdoor pool every day.

We had recommended Oceans One to three other couples (family, friends & neighbours) who also joined us for the month of November at Oceans One ------- impressed by their stay all have reserved for November 2012.

We are looking forward to our return to Oceans One in March!

Why is it that a hotel can advertise internet service and then have non or to the point of downloads of 14 kps.

This Oceans One place here is so cheap that the residents have to rely on a local hotspot to get any service at all. The Manager just told me that the residents here slow down the internet by using it to much, DAH, you think,where is his brain for the past two weeks. Most of the residents here, are here for the winter, and are good reliable residents, but with no internet service, many are looking at other places to stay,others have had to purchase a private internet service in order to carry out their business connections at home. Some of the residents have to go next door to the lobby of the neighbour hotel to hook up and get some email,which we all like to have access to,others have been able to hook up to the free citywide hotspot,but you have to have a room on the north side of the building for that.I am sure that tripadvisor will be receiving a lot or complaints about this place so DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN THE SAME SITUATION AS US.
