“Awesome trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 June 2012 NEW

We just returned from a relaxing week at the seaglass tower. We arrived around noon. Our room was not ready but we did any early check in and was told we would be called when our room was available. We decided to have lunch and walked to Kmart and the piggly wiggly for supplies as we did not have a car. Within an hour our room was ready. We stayed in a 1 bedroom deluxe on the 17th fl. Our view was a amazing seeing both city and ocean. The room was very clean and having a full kitchen was convenient. Didn't really need a car as most things were in walking distance. The one downfall was that they didn't provide beach chairs or umbrellas on the beach. You had to rent them for $30 a day. Kelly at the front desk was very helpful and informative. The week was quiet once the bikers were gone.

Room Tip: The higher you are the better the view. The 17th fl was great. The city view is the best.

We stayed here in May it wasn't in peek season, however there wasn't a lot of activities for kids. I didn't find the front desk friendly at all, I understand there is an issue with these bugs (), they were all over the balcony so I told the front desk and they did nothing about it, I spoke to another guest about it and they said the front desk had someone come up and sweep off their balcony. We asked the woman at the front desk to make reservations for the pirates voyage, she was too busy at the time and said she would call us to make the reservation and never called, I had to go back down to the front desk again to have them make the reservation. I believe as an employee you should make a good impression no matter where your hotel is located because in the end your giving that hotel a bad name, at this time I would never stay nor buy a timeshare with Bluegreen because of my experience. The reason I rated this place average is because the view was fantastic.

Room Tip: the higher you are the better the view, rooms 01 through 04 are the best!

“Vacation Stay Sea Glass Tower”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 May 2012

Our 4 day stay was very liesure and relaxing - there was a night with a thunder storm that, from the 12th floor, was awesome watching it come in over the ocean. The best of the room was the jetted tub in the room but it took too long to fill and wasn't very hot. The room was spacious and the kitchen was great as well. The outdoor hot tubes were the bomb (two of them) as you can look to the ocean from the tub while you relax. If you are interested in staying there you should take a few extra bucks so that you can buy internet service as it wasn't free and there was no breakfast to speak of and no restaurante - but that stuff is just across the street and a short walk on the boardwalk. Enjoy your stay - I am sure it will be a great on at teh Sea Glass Tower...

Room Tip: When looking here - anything above the 10th floor looking out over the ocean - you can't go wron...

“Spring Break 2012”

Trip was 9-13 April 2012, room on 18th floor, delux city view. The first time I stayed on this side of the hotel. You can still see the beach. The view was nice but I will never stay during popular weeks. Even on the 18th floor you could still hear the streets below. I took the room on the side that I could view the children and action when they were down in the streets. If you like to hang out on the balcony and see all the action, then this is the type of rooms for you. The staff was friendly as normal and everyone we encountered was polite. The rooms are good at keeping the noise in the building. As always, I will stay again, but back on my Ocean Front side. The children loved it and had a great time.

“Great location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 April 2012

We stayed here March 9 through 16. Upon arrival, our room seemed pretty nice and quite clean. The decor was cheery. We had a one bedroom on the 4th floor on the south side of the building. However, after sleeping in the bed the first night, we realized that having the bed right up against the window wasn't the best - even though the bed was comfortable. It seems as though they could have arranged the furniture a little better. The living room was small, but with only two of us, it was fine. I particularly liked the chaise that was next to the window. We also enjoyed the small balcony. Because we were on the south side of the building, we were able to use it all afternoon and into the evening. The other side of the building was cool and shady all day. After being there a day or so, the weather turned a little cool, so we turned the air off - that is when the musty smell seemed to arrive - have no clue what it was, but it seemed to be coming from the vents. The bathroom vanity was very small, but there was a nice "upper" shelving area. We also had problems with water running along the wall side of the tub and onto the floor. We were able to control it with towels, but it wasn't the best situation. They do offer a daily towel exchange though, which was nice. We had a lovely view of the beach, Pier 14 restaurant and the boardwalk. It was also fun to be able to watch the "Slingshot" and hear the people scream! Wi-Fi is not free in your room. They have an antiquated computer and two iPads in the lobby for free use. Some Bluegreen properties are FINALLY offering free Wi-Fi in your room, but not this one. The desk people were nice and were also helpfull. The indoor pool is very small and is also shared with the two Yachtsman hotels next door. They have outdoor pools and hot tubs that are shared with Seaglass. Others have complained about the off-property parking. We did not see that as a problem. We liked the fact that one of the parking lots was a covered garage. The hotel has a small area between the hotel and the dune with lounge chairs. We enjoyed that area on a particularly windy and cool afternoon - it was very pleasant there. The location of the hotel is great! It is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, shopping, beach, Sky Wheel, and the boardwalk starts right in front. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: Balconys on the south side can be used more hours of the day.
