“Not Much Rest Not Much Service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2010

It's bad enough that the building is beside 501 highway and a service station that has deliveries and trash collection through the night. It also has a very rude night clerk who is impatient and seems turned off by having to leave the tv long enough to do his job helping guests. When I arrived the front entry door was open but he was not present so I had to ring for him. Anyone would be free to walk in. He also allows guests far too much leeway to make noise. At 2 am there were disruptive guests nearby slamming their door as they went in and out repeatedly saying, he 'cannot stop them from goin' in and out'. If you want a secure location where you can get a peaceful night's rest and caring service, this is not it.

“Not a good value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2010

Came for a quick trip with the family to Myrtle Beach. The room was ok, a little musty, the beds and bedding were below average. The room and bath were clean. The entire Fitness center was out of order. The breakfast area is not nearly big enough for the hotel and the breakfast was not re-stocked enough for the number of guests using it. For the price you pay here, it's not worth it.

“Nice, with a few issues....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2010

The hotel is in a great location, huge Tanger Outlet across the street, restaurants, beach is like 7 mins. down the street. The room was clean for the most part, the A/C unit had moldy mildew on the vents and the toilet ran and made noise all night. They came to fix it the next morning, but then it made a loud gush when you would flush it, which was annoying. We had one cloth that was not clean, had a stain on it. The beds & pillows were very comfy. The room was laid out a little weird, the bathroom only had a shower and a sliding door to close you off from the room, you could barely move. There was no privacy it you needed to get dressed out of the shower. The vanity area was out in the open. Just weird! The front desk staff were rough around the edges, not very friendly or knowledgeable, didn't seem to be concerned at all about the issues I pointed out when we left, no apologies or anything. I've never experienced that before. The breakfast area was not kept neat & very crowded. Waffles were stiff as a board after they came off the griddle. Wall are thin, so you can hear everything going on in the hallway. You can try this hotel and hope for the best, its not a bad place.

“Wonderful Experince!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 July 2009

I stayed here with my wife and 2 children(ages 5 & 3). We used my points from the Choice program and I was surprised at how easy check in was. I showed him my reservation confirmation and was handed my key. When we got to our room it was clean and tidy. It had a micro/fridge combo a desk and chair and in room coffee maker. The floors were clean and so was the bathroom, which had standard amenities. In the morning my wife went to get coffee and juice for us and when my oldest woke up she took her to get a muffin and an apple from their contential breakfast. It was a normal fare including make your own waffles and had pastires and fruit and yougurt. We didn't eat the breakfast because we always go to a pancake house while in Myrtle Beach.
I gave this a lower rating for location only because my family who was visiting Form New York was stay at the beach 30 minutes away, but other than that there was plenty to chose from to eat and shop around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to people who are going to to the new Freestyle Theme Park and the Tanger outlet mall. I would stay her again.
