“Great Location in Myrtle Beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

One night in a one bedroom ocean front "suite" was very comfortable in Breakers Sailfish. I was on business, wife was at the beach. The room is a little small for the term suite, more like a one bedroom with a small kitchenette and small family room. Thought it was a little pricey for what we got - but it was clean, comfortable, excellent ocean view and very friendly staff. Great breakfast for just $7 bucks. I have stayed with the Breakers in the past on the guy's Golf Package, which is excellent. The Sailfish is a little older than some of the other Breakers choices.

“Made our weekend so easy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011

This hotel is FANTASTIC. Great prices, beautiful views, clean, courteous staff, close to everything...it was a wonderful experience. The best part was that the resort was originally five different hotels, so you can walk across the resort to find any kind of atmosphere you like - kid-friendly, college party life, calm laying in the sun, quiet lazy rivers, the works!! You also couldn't beat the convenience. There's a Starbucks across the street, several restaurant options in the hotel itself, and lots within walking distance, there's even a reasonably-priced convenience store in the hotel. I would recommend the Breakers to anyone. We will definitely return. My only complaint is the size of the parking garage. I drive a compact car and found myself feeling a little nervous...be careful if you're in a truck or an SUV! :)

Room Tip: The Sailfish building was the quietest as it was the furthest from the outdoor kids' pool area.

“Wow - what a fun weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2011

We stayed in the Penthouse apartment in the Sailfish. The room was very clean and well laid out. We had five pools, the lazy river, several hot tubs and water playgrounds to play in when we needed a break from the beach. I was amazed how the staff kept the whole area so clean. The visitors, unfortunately, often behaved like poorly behaved children and left their towels and trash everywhere. I was impressed that all the staff I encountered could continue to be so polite and friendly after cleaning up after tourists all summer.
The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed - the beds were comfortable and view spectacular. I usually stay in less developed places and I was very impressed with how the efficiently the breakers handled the crowds.

“Finally Found the One!”

We have been searching for years for the hotel/resort that would be the place we go back to year after year. We have finally found that place. Not sure if it will always be the Sailfish, but it will always be Breakers Resort. The room was clean; the layout was perfect; the maid service was great, the staff extremely helpful. It was all we wanted and more. We stayed on the 12th floor in room 1211 and has no complaints at all. The parking was across the street but there was plenty of room to pull in front of the hotel, unload and/or load then park. The pools were clean, the grounds were beautiful and the beach could not have been closer. Check-in was a breeze. They allow you to register no matter what time you arrive and then all you have to do is check back after 1pm to get your key cards when your room is ready. We registered at 8:30am, got into our room at 1:30pm and spend the time in between in the pool and on the beach. They made it convenient and easy. We had a great time and can't wait to come back.
