Comfortable hotel centrally located in Mount Pleasant on Route 17. The two-story lobby is nicely decorated. The pool, located in the courtyard in the back, is very pretty, but it was too cold to take advantage of it during my stay. As for the rooms, they are a notch above standard hotel fare. The furnishing were nice and the bed was very comfortable. One small complaint was that the water took a few minutes to warm up in the shower in the morning, but other than that, my stay at the Courtyard Mt. Pleasant was indeed pleasant. I recommend it

We have stayed a this hotel many times because of its proximity to the beach, Sullivan's island, and charleston. Overall, it is fine, however it is in need of a little refresh. The furniture is outdated and the cleaning was marginal,and needs to be improved. Breakfast area has been updated and is nice and the breakfast is good. The rooms need the attention that the lobby area has received. The only thing that has been updated in the rooms is a flat screen TV. there were some hairs from a previous guest in the bed and the bathroom floor. The young woman at the front desk was very nice.

Property is in great shape. Best looking lobby (includes a full service bar, fireplace, plenty of seating) I've seen in this price range. Outdoor pool area also looks high-end.

Room was very spacious. We needed a roll-away bed and it was great (the stand-up kind with a real mattress). Quick access to both Shem Creek and Historic District Charleston.

Breakfast wasn't free (albeit inexpensive at $10 for a buffet), but the nice facilities more than made up for that.

This is our third stay at the Courtyard in Mt. Pleasant. SC. We choose to stay in Mt. Pleasant rather that Charleston because it is a short drive across the bridge. The staff was very helpful. We saw some of the staff from prior stay. The rooms are well appointed and was kept clean every day. The hotel is located near the freeways going to other areas, Savannah and other cities. There are a lot of places to eat near the hotel. Whole Foods was a good place to eat during our stay. The hotel have a very good breakfast. The hotel is near Boone Farm which was a very interesting cultural fabric of the Gullah culture. Visiting it was very educational and eyeopening about the Gullah culture. We would would stay at this hotel again.
