Kimberly at check in was friendly and welcoming! Rooms were clean, bed comfy! Booked from Priceline.com and had no trouble at all at check in.

We spent a night here instead of paying for more pricey accommodations in downtown Charleston. It was nothing fancy but was clean, and quiet and comfortable enough. It's a ten minute drive or less from all the historical sights in Charleston. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anybody who is looking for an affordable place to stay while in Charleston. Don't forget any toiletries though! They were lacking the standard hotel freebies including hand soap.

We booked a room for a Saturday night. We got there a little early but weren't allowed to check in till exactly 3. When I came back late that night the receptionist told me I was lucky cause they had overbooked the hotel and someone had just left so they could give me a room even though I had made reservations a week prior. My room was downgraded and had to go buy extra ice so the food wouldn't go bad. The bathroom was barely big enough to walk in and turn around. And you could feel every spring on the bed. I know they made upgrades but someone forgot this room. If its a last resort then I would recommend but if u have other options then chose those.

I have stayed at this property several times in the past year. The hotel is in a good location about 3 miles from downtown; just over the bridge. The property is well maintained, the staff is incredibly accomodating and the motel is a good value. There are several stores within walking distance behind the property....Harris Teeter, Starbucks, Rite Aide, Whole Foods, Wendy, Hardees. The rooms are typical Red roof in size and decor. The bathrooms are very clean and great colors/wood floor. I would return when in the area. PET FRIENDLY-NO FEE.
