Awesome digs...very clean and comfortable; good location to charleston. We just wanted to let Amy, the front desk manager, know that we appreciated her warmth,friendliness and helpfulness. You do your job well!

what a wonderful hotel! clean rooms, great rate, good breakfast. we went to tourist information in Charleston to book a tour & saw the need lodging sign. we told the attendant that we needed a suite outside the city. he called Mainstay & found a two bedroom suite. how shocked were we to open the door & find a clean spacious rooms with a sitting area & a kitchenette. I am planning on staying here again. all the desk clerk were very nice & had great attitudes!

Just finished what I believe to have been our sixth or seventh time staying at this facility. The reason for our repeat visits was the warm reception we received during our very first stay 2 1/2 years ago. Housekeeping has improved tremendously, and the rooms are kept in immaculate conditon. Always with plenty of towels, soap, shampoo etc. Studio suites are comfortable and povide a good selection of cableTV channels. Entire staff could not be friendlier, but special kudos to Amy and Elizabeth, the heart and soul of the operation. Only flaw would be that the continental breakfast could use a little tweaking and a little more variety. Would never think of visiting the Charleston area without a stay at our favorite place.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights during my recent visit to Charleston and Mount Pleasant area. The rooms were in immaculate condition and very spacious. I was not sure what to expect when I first arrived because the reviews were mixed, my opinion no complaints. The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating, the continental breakfast was well prepared and fresh, rooms clean and the free internet worked better than any other hotel computer I've used. Last remarks would be on the ideal location. The drive to downtown Charleston was about ten minutes, everywhere in Mount Pleasant was about five minutes and located right at the foot of the Cooper Bridge. We took a morning trip to the beach at Sullivan's Island and was only a ten minute drive. Highly recommend for travelers wanting space, nice room with a kitchen, and a great location!
