This was my third stay in this motel, mostly because it is located at a good rest point on trips from northern Virgina to southeastern South Carolina.
Positive: nice, clean rooms (surprisingly so for the price), quiet heating/ac units, generally pretty quiet, right at the intersection of Rtes 601 & 20, Shoney's is next door if I don't want to drive to dinner after driving all day. Small outdoor pool, friendly staff.
Negative: Really no extra amenities in the rooms except for coffee. "Breakfast" consists of mediocre doughnuts and danish. The last time I was there the water heater was broken, and as I left there was no water period. This is probably a rare problem.
