I travel extensively for work (180+ nights per year) and stay at a lot of Days Inn. This hotel is by far the best Days Inn I have ever stayed at. It compares favorably to hotels that charge much more. The facility is clean, bright and well equipped. Rooms have flat screen TVs, nice desks and comfortable beds. There is ample parking for large trucks or RVs if that is your mode of travel.

I was trying to be thoughtful in saving my company money, so I thought I'd give this place a try. The rate was about $25 less than what I usually pay in this area. The check-in was fine and I have no complaints in my limited time with the front desk.

In thinking back I wish I had asked for another room once I got into bed. I was just so tired from driving. The bed linens had an unclean feel to them (oily) and they did not smell fresh. I wondered if they had even been changed. The carpet in the room was also filthy. It needed to be cleaned badly. The only part that was acceptable about the room was the bathroom. It was dated but seemed fairly clean.

The breakfast was very limited and the cups for juice were the size of those tiny dixie cups. The muffin I had was fine, but nothing else appealed to me.

Room was filthy. Found a disgusting object behind the door in the bathroom. Was given only 2 towels each day, instead of the customary 4. Check-in people were rude. My suggestion is to never stay there. Sleep in a tent instead.

Be very very wary of reserving online. I reserved a king non smoking room on Days Inn website and when I got there the desk manager told me my receipt didn't matter. She had me in her computer as a double. She refused to call someone to see if this could be fixed. I thought the customer was always right. I had to call the customer service line in front of her to get this straightened out. In the meantime she checked me out of the hotel all together because I wouldn't accept the room she had on her computer. She still would not listen when the lady at Days Inn customer service said my receipt was right. They had to get the complaint hotline to call her directly and told her to give me the room that I have reserved. This all probably took 15 to 20 minutes. Felt like forever! Finally I got the room that I reserved online.
Called the Days Inn customer service to file a formal complaint.
Room was ok. Tub had several repaired spots. Certainly wasn't going to ask the front desk to give me a wake up call and the alarm clock did not work. Thank goodness I woke up on my own!
