I had reserved a villa online that quoted one price. When the confirmation reservation came through, it quoted a much higher price. I thought the price for the quote was low but figured it was quoted on the first date & last date I would be there & the rest of the 5 nights would be priced accordingly. This was not the case. When I called to ask about the difference, the woman on the phone was very rude. I suggested to her to check her website, and she said she would, but would not adjust or even offer to come to an agreement. She said it was a certain amount and that was it! I told her I needed to cancel my reservation then, and she said very snidely "Is that what you want to do?" And I said yes, that I could find a much better deal elsewhere. That is when she hung up on me! Please be warned & use a different rental agency!!

We had a wonderful week and had plenty of room for our entire family. The amenities were wonderful and were very convenient. The office staff was very helpful and friendly.

Vacation time are family. When I walked in to get my keys for Ocean Dunes, the first words out of Michael's mouth was. Happy Birthday. Before I left the office I received best wishes from

As marble floors, brass etc, you may want to consider those real pricey establishments where
You might end up looking at the parking lot or hanging out over your balcony to see the ocean.
We chose that Direct view of the ocean.

We made arrangements to stay here based on the Tripadvisor ratings and the fact they were running specials.

We arrived in the evening and picked up keys at their office. When we enter the condo, we were hit with a very strong mold smell. We found cockroaches dead on the floor in many locations (and decided dead ones are better than live ones). When we checked out the bathroom, we found that paint from the ceiling had fallen all over the room. To say the least the condo was in bad shape and not clean. There was nothing we could do at that point, because of the time, so we went and bought cleaning supplies, cleaned up some and spent the night. Not a good night sleep!

The next morning we went over to the office and brought the matter up with the staff. They were extremely sorry and found us another place right away-without even being asked. The 2nd condo was much nicer and cleaner. Yeah! We finished our time on HHI happily.

The bottom line is: The condo complex is older, so it could use some TLC. The location was great. The beach is great. The 2nd condo was great. The staff was very concerned that we were content with our stay...that says alot these days.

I would love to go back to Hitlton Head and I might be willing to use Vacation Time again...BUT I would be much more careful about the exact condo details.
