We stayed in Shorewood Villas unit 223. Although it is in a good location the place was in Bad shape. We had a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo which really needed a good cleaning. The owners/rental service (Hilton Head vacation rentals) should be embarrassed. The carpets were filthy, the appliances needed badly to be replaced, we had sand fleas or something eat us alive in the living room/couch. The view was NOT the one shown in the internet ad NOR was any of the furniture. Do not rent this villa! I would not go again.

Our family(mom, dad and three adult children) spent a wonderful week at Shorewood Villas. We rented through vrbo.com directly with the owners who were very easy to work with. We loved being oceanfront and steps to the remodeled pool. The pictures on the website were an accurate representation of the condo. Everything has been well maintained and very clean. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook. We usually ate breakfast and lunch at the condo and then ate out for dinner so didn't really do much cooking. We sat on the balcony looking out at the ocean and off to the side was the pool. Shorewood is within walking distance of Coligny plaza and a short drive to Sea Pines where we took a dinner cruise. I can not say enough wonderful things to say about our condo. My two main goals were oceanfront and affordable and Shorewood fit the bill perfectly. Since each condo is individually owned I assume each condo is different in quality so all I can say is 202 is great. This was our 2nd stay there and it won't be our last.

We completely enjoyed our stay at 538 Shorewood. This villa and view are exactly as advertised - beautiful. The property grounds are very well maintained and the new pool is perfect. What really sets this property apart is the staff and the level of customer service provided - the guards at the gate could not have been friendlier, the pool staff were fun, and when the pool was closed for maintenance the rental company made another property's pool available to us.

My wife, 1yr daughter, and parents stayed at Shorewood condo #504 for a week in June. This was our first trip to HH and we had an outstanding time. The location of the Shorewood can't be beat! Once you arrive you do not need to drive anywhere unless you so desire. The view of the ocean from the condo is out of this world. The condo was very nicely decorded and very comfortable. The Shorewood has a really nice pool, kids pool, a large hot tub, and private access to the beach. I would recommend the Shorewood and specifically unit #504 to anyone.
